Service Description


This service aims to provide support to craftsmen in various forms, such as providing tools and equipment, raw materials, training, participation in exhibitions, workshop preparation, restoration and maintenance, packaging, and marketing. These support services are offered by the authority to enhance the craftsmanship industries.

  1. -Home-based production business license (if applicable).
  2. -Previous training courses and certifications obtained by the craftsman.
  3. -Photos of the products.
  4. -Craftsmanship support request form.
  5. -Quotations (price offers).
  1. The individual craftsman is required for the following support:
  2. To be Omani nationality
  3. To be registered in the authority’s database.
  4. To have a home license for a literal activity by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Investment Promotion.
  5. He has to join specialized professional training programs approved by the authority and successfully completed the course or has the practical experience that the authority appreciates.
  6. To manage and supervise the craft industry in support.
  7. Not to have previously been granted support during (2) two years before the application.
  8. To have a specific location to practice the craftsmanship of support.
