Service Description


The service is concerned with submitting a vocational qualification request by individuals with mild to moderate intellectual disabilities who are eligible for qualification and are physically and mentally fit to benefit from the available training programs at the center. This is done through the social worker at the Trainees Affairs Department. The registration period is from the beginning of January until the end of March each year.

  1. • Civil ID information of the applicant and the guardian.
  2. • Information of the disabled person's ID card.
  3. • Recent medical report (issued within the last 6 months on the day of application), clearly indicating the type of disability.
  4. • Latest educational qualification (training, vocational).
  5. • Copy of the National Manpower Registry Card (for those above 18 years of age).
  1. • To be Omani, and it is permissible to accept non -Omanis according to the absorptive capacity
  2. • To be a category of persons with simple, rehabilitative mental disabilities, and it is permissible to accept the case of dual disabilities if it becomes clear that the possibility of qualifying them according to the areas of rehabilitation available in the center
  3. • The applicant's time age is not less than (16) years and does not exceed (30) years upon registration, and some cases may be excluded from the age condition by a decision of the technical committee in the center
