Business (Invest Easy)

The Invest Easy portal (One Stop Shop) provides fast and easy e-services to help set up and manage companies in Oman. Using the e-services helps minimize paperwork and save costs and time.


Customs (Bayan)

Bayan system is an online one-stop-shop offered by the Royal Oman Police (ROP) - Directorate General of Customs that facilitates seamless, convenient and fast clearance of goods for trading communities.

Service Description

a request that is submitted for any transaction resulting in the total or partial transfer of ownership of assets, shares, interests, rights, obligations, or benefits from one person to another, or the establishment of unions, mergers, or the combination of two or more entities under a joint administration that would place a person or a group of persons in a dominant position, either directly or indirectly.

  1. -An original copy of the founding contract or articles of association of the entities.
  2. -An original copy of the registration documents or commercial registration of the entities from the relevant authorities.
  3. -An original copy of the license to conduct specific activities issued by the competent authorities (e.g., banking, insurance, telecommunications, electricity production), along with any amendments made to it.
  4. -A copy of the draft contract, agreement, or transaction resulting from the economic concentration.
  5. -A copy of the audited financial statements of the entities for the past three years.
  6. -Copies of reports, studies, and surveys prepared to assess the economic concentration concerning market shares, competitive conditions, actual and potential competitors, the logical basis for the concentration, sales growth potential, or general market conditions. The documents should include the date of preparation and identify the source.
  7. -Approvals obtained by the applicant from comexecution complication regulatory authorities outside the country if any.
  8. -A report on the assets and business volume of the applicant outside the country.
  9. -Proof of payment of the prescribed fee.-
  1. -The Ministry requires the request for economic focus and is examined in terms of completing the required documents (formally -the completion of data)
  2. -Check the center for the request in terms of the subject (its study objectively)
  3. -Submit the economic focus study to the minister to express an opinion and decide on the request for approval or rejection
  4. The applicant is notified of the decision to agree to economic focus.
