Business (Invest Easy)

The Invest Easy portal (One Stop Shop) provides fast and easy e-services to help set up and manage companies in Oman. Using the e-services helps minimize paperwork and save costs and time.


Customs (Bayan)

Bayan system is an online one-stop-shop offered by the Royal Oman Police (ROP) - Directorate General of Customs that facilitates seamless, convenient and fast clearance of goods for trading communities.

Service Description

Issuing a License Certificate for the Institution to Operate in the Securities Field.

  1. Firstly: Preliminary Approval
  2. A letter requesting the establishment of a company or a branch of a foreign company to operate in the securities field, including the type of activity and the intended location for conducting the activity, along with the names of the founders and their nationalities, in addition to the proposed capital.
  3. A certificate of non-conviction for the founders.
  4. Completion of the application form for obtaining preliminary approval + completion of the authorization form issued by the founders or members of the board of directors to delegate someone to proceed with the establishment procedures and obtain the license.
  5. Approval from the Central Bank of Oman if the applicant for establishment is a bank with an independent department for investment banking activities.
  6. Receipt of payment for the application review fee (OMR 500).
  7. Secondly: Final Approval
  8. A letter requesting a license to engage in the activity/activities.
  9. A copy of the commercial register, authorized signatories, and the company's membership card in the Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
  10. A certified copy of the company's establishment contract and its articles of association.
  11. Evidence of providing a bank guarantee (Article 120).
  12. A statement of the board of directors, managers, their qualifications, and experiences.
  13. A statement of compliance with the minimum number of employees + completion of employee forms. (Continued...)
