Service Description


This service allows the kindergarten / school owner to request a license for kindergarten / school for the first time

  1. • Fill in the license issuance application form.
  2. Attach all documents shown in the application form:
  3. A copy of the initial approval granted to practice the activity. (Valid)
  4. A clear and complete copy of the commercial registration papers.
  5. A copy of the affiliation certificate.
  6. A copy of the municipal license.
  7. A copy of the facility's civil protection license (security and safety).
  8. -lease.
  9. - A copy of the ownership of the land and the sketch.
  10. A copy of the owner's card.
  11. A copy of the kindergarten/school board.
  12. Receipt indicating payment of the prescribed fee (depending on the type of license).
  13. - A bank guarantee letter according to Article (22) amended by Ministerial Decision No. (8/2018) of the Private Schools Regulations, as follows:
  14. 1) A bank guarantee letter of (5,000) five thousand Omani riyals for preschool education schools.
  15. 2) A bank guarantee letter in the amount of (7000) seven thousand Omani riyals for schools of pre-school education up to the fourth grade.
  16. 3) A bank guarantee letter in the amount of (10,000) ten thousand Omani riyals for schools of pre-school education up to the twelfth.
  17. Final school building inspection report.
  1. • That the initial approval granted to practice the activity be valid.
  2. • That the proposed building be appropriate and fulfilled by all the specifications of the school building.
  3. • The approval of other government agencies (municipal, civil protection for the facility) on the school building.
  4. • The absence of an unlicensed partner / partners from the Ministry of Education in the commercial registry registered with the activity of the private school.
