Customs (Bayan)

Bayan system is an online one-stop-shop offered by the Royal Oman Police (ROP) - Directorate General of Customs that facilitates seamless, convenient and fast clearance of goods for trading communities.

Service Description

This service allows beneficiaries to apply for a permit to dig an open or drilled well. It is available for individuals, government entities, and companies. The process involves the examination of the application by water resources employees who prepare a technical report and conduct field visits. The service is divided into several types, depending on the beneficiary's purpose, such as: -Digging a new individual well -Digging a new communal well Additional types can be viewed on the official website.

After issuing the license, the request for a change of the well dug, increases the depth of the well, changes the well contracting contractor if required.
