Service Description
Renewal of Excavation Permit for the Purpose of Completing Excavation Works Alongside Lighting Poles and Electrical Assemblies Belonging to the Lighting or Traffic Signals Network.
- A letter from the company addressed to the Director of the Lighting Department (in Arabic), including the following:
- Subject, type of work, work distance, work location (governorate + area + phase), track number (if no track number exists, a landmark at the site must be provided, such as a school, shop, station, etc.),
- Contact information for company representatives (delegate, engineers, project manager).
- Clear excavation route lines should be marked on the attached drawing.
- A copy of drawings illustrating the scope of excavation-related work.
- - Renewing a drilling permit issued by the Lighting Department of the General Directorate of Projects and Affairs in the municipality of Muscat.
- - The renewal of a final permit from the Department of Technical Studies must be obtained.
- - The previous permit must be brought to verify the work sites previously.
- - In the event that the path or the work site changes, a new permit must be obtained.
- The reasons for delaying work must be mentioned during the previous period.
