Business (Invest Easy)

The Invest Easy portal (One Stop Shop) provides fast and easy e-services to help set up and manage companies in Oman. Using the e-services helps minimize paperwork and save costs and time.


Customs (Bayan)

Bayan system is an online one-stop-shop offered by the Royal Oman Police (ROP) - Directorate General of Customs that facilitates seamless, convenient and fast clearance of goods for trading communities.



Ministry of Manpower provides a single online platform to the Citizens and Business Owners to find services related information and apply for those services through a unified and easy to use application.

Service Description

Add to a previous major construction permit

  1. A copy of the ownership document and the survey plan.
  2. An electronic copy (PDF) containing architectural and structural plans (detailed building drawings to be added, authenticated by the designing consultancy office), in addition to the structural calculations booklet.
  3. Approval from relevant authorities (Oman Telecommunications Company, Ooredoo, Public Authority for Electricity and Water), according to the applicable procedure for unzoned areas, and any other approvals required by the municipality.
  4. Maps approved by the Public Authority for Civil Defence and Ambulance for government, industrial, and tourist buildings, residential and commercial residential buildings, wedding halls, and educational institutions, in accordance with the regulations and rules stipulated by the Public Authority for Civil Defence and Ambulance.
  5. A soil testing report from a specialized laboratory (within Oman) for buildings exceeding three floors in height. If the number of floors is three or less, submitting the soil testing report from the designing consultancy is acceptable.
