The Invest Easy portal (One Stop Shop) provides fast and easy e-services to help set up and manage companies in Oman. Using the e-services helps minimize paperwork and save costs and time.


Customs (Bayan)

Bayan system is an online one-stop-shop offered by the Royal Oman Police (ROP) - Directorate General of Customs that facilitates seamless, convenient and fast clearance of goods for trading communities.

Service Description

Issuing a license certificate to approve insurance activities

  1. A detailed statement of the founders, provided that they are of Omani nationality
  2. A certificate of non-conviction for the founders, members of the senior management and the person in charge of managing the office
  3. A copy of the valid certificate of registration in the commercial register
  4. The license applicant shall submit a written undertaking to train all his employees in the field of activity to be practiced
  5. Certified true copy of the agreement concluded between him and the insurance company, provided that the conditions specified in Article (6) of the Regulations are met.
  6. The person in charge of managing the office should have an academic qualification of not less than a general education diploma and experience of not less than one year in the field of insurance.
  7. A copy of the academic certificates and practical experience of the person in charge of managing the office (Omani nationality) or submitting evidence that the person in charge of managing the office has passed a training program for insurance from one of the specialized agencies.
