Business (Invest Easy)

The Invest Easy portal (One Stop Shop) provides fast and easy e-services to help set up and manage companies in Oman. Using the e-services helps minimize paperwork and save costs and time.


Customs (Bayan)

Bayan system is an online one-stop-shop offered by the Royal Oman Police (ROP) - Directorate General of Customs that facilitates seamless, convenient and fast clearance of goods for trading communities.

Service Description

Issuing a license certificate to approve engagement in insurance activities

  1. • Commercial registration certificate limited to insurance brokerage activities, and membership certificate in the Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
  2. • Bank certificate confirming that the applicant's capital is not less than (100,000) Omani Rials, fully paid.
  3. • Names of the founders and their nationalities.
  4. • Names of the board members (if applicable) and their nationalities.
  5. • Non-conviction certificate for the founders, board members, and senior executive management (General Manager and other directors).
  6. • Original copy of the Articles of Association and the Bylaws.
  7. • Original copy of the authorized signatories form or original copy of the ID card of the authorized signatories.
  8. • Detailed statement of its employees, including their training and qualification plan in the field of insurance brokerage.
  9. • Approved economic feasibility study from a consultancy office in the Sultanate.
  10. • Undertaking to provide a dedicated and independent office for conducting insurance brokerage activities.
  11. • Receipt of payment for the license application fee, amounting to (1,000) Omani Rials.
  12. • Evidence of appointing a full-time manager to supervise insurance brokerage activities.
