Service Description


The Civil Aviation Authority analyzes requests to ensure that the use of solar panels more than 400 square meters does not affect air navigation and to prevent obstacles in all airports of the Sultanate.

  1. -ID card (original and/or copy) or passport (original and/or copy)
  2. -Official letter addressed to the Director of Airport Safety Department requesting approval for the service, including the following information:
  3. -Table specifying the coordinates of the proposed location for each tower using WGS84 (angle, minutes, and seconds)
  4. -Proposed ground elevation above sea level and tower elevation above ground level
  5. -Certified engineering plan of the project, prepared by the consultant, in A3 size, determined by the tower height above ground level
  1. Submit the application to the authority for a period of no less than a month before the start of the installation
