Service Description


The General Authority of Civil Aviation analyzes requests to ensure that the use of solar panels less than 400 square meters does not affect air navigation and to prevent obstacles in all airports of the Sultanate.

  1. -Original or copy of the ID card or passport.
  2. -Official letter addressed to the Director of the Airport Safety Department requesting approval for the service, including the following information:
  3. -Table indicating the coordinates of the proposed location for each tower with WGS84 (angle, minutes, and seconds).
  4. -Proposed ground elevation above sea level and tower height above ground level.
  5. -A3-size approved engineering plan of the project, specifying the tower height above ground level.
  6. -Payment of the service fees.
