Service Description


Service to obtain the approval of the airport obstacle evaluation: towers, columns, supports, scaffolding and similar structures of permanent nature. The airport safety department analyzes requests to ensure that the height of the towers, columns, supports, scales and similar structures does not affect air navigation and prevent obstacles in all airports of the Sultanate

  1. ID card (original and/or copy) or passport (original and/or copy)
  2. An official letter addressed to the Director of the Airport Safety Department to approve the service with the following information:
  3. o Table showing coordinates of proposed location for each tower with WGS84 (angle, minutes and seconds)
  4. o The height of the proposed land above sea level and the height of the tower above ground level
  5. o An engineering plan approved by the consultant for the project (A3 size) and determined by the height of the tower above the ground.
