Service Description


The Airport Safety Department is checking the design of the landing and reviewing all relevant documents to ensure the preservation of facilities and operations in accordance with national and international regulations and standards.

  1. Copies of the proposed airstrip manual including the contingency plan, safety management system and organizational structure for the airstrip operator
  2. Rescue and Fire Fighting Service Operations Manual
  3. Landscaping security programme
  4. - Survey of runways and obstacles
  5. The runway diagram shows all the obstacles. its borders, and all operational airspace infrastructure
  6. - A chart showing all aircraft parking positions, markings, dimensions and operational infrastructure of the air
  7. An environmental study on the impact of operating the airport from a locally or internationally accredited body
  8. Submitting a request to issue a runway operation certificate to the Directorate General for Civil Aviation Regulation, along with the required documents
  9. Pay the service fee
  10. Note: The Airport Safety Department may request any other documents during the study of the application.
