Service Description


The airport safety department conducts an audit on the airport, operating operations and maintenance systems, and reviews all relevant documents to ensure the preservation of facilities and operations in accordance with national and international regulations and standards.

  1. Copies of the proposed airport manual including the emergency plan, safety management system and organizational structure of the airport operator
  2. Rescue and Fire Fighting Service Operations Manual
  3. Airport security programme
  4. - Scan airports and obstacles
  5. - 1:1000 scale airport chart showing all obstacles. Airport borders, and all operational airspace infrastructure
  6. - 1:500 scale yard plan showing all aircraft parking lots, markings, dimensions and operational air infrastructure
  7. - Draft AIP AD2 text and graphics
  8. - Draft Airport Certification Checklist
  9. An environmental study on the impact of airport operation, to be conducted by a locally or internationally accredited body
  10. Submit the application to the Directorate General for Civil Aviation Regulation along with the required documents
  11. Pay the service fee
  12. Note: The Airport Safety Department may request any other documents during the study of the application
