Customs (Bayan)

Bayan system is an online one-stop-shop offered by the Royal Oman Police (ROP) - Directorate General of Customs that facilitates seamless, convenient and fast clearance of goods for trading communities.

Service Description

This service is offered to private institutions aiming to establish specialized institutes for teaching and training in the fields of arts, music, and movement performance.

  1. 1. The entity desiring to establish the institute must submit a comprehensive letter outlining the nature of the institute's fields, the proposed name, and the preferred location.
  2. 2. The following documents must be attached: a valid commercial registration, a list of activities previously conducted, and a certificate of affiliation from the Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
  1. • The applicant must be an institution that has a valid commercial record.
  2. • The name of the proposed institute should be clear.
  3. • That the name should not be for another institute.
  4. • That the institute’s location be in a suitable place that is easy to reach, and does not cause any harassment of the residents next to the headquarters.
