Service Description


A service to be provided to the beneficiaries to issue a permanent registration certificate and a shipping license for ships and naval units registered under the Omani flag, in order to change from temporary to permanent (It is classified according to weights, including 5 weights, and then classified into types of ships, which include 6 types, and some types have sub-types)

  1. Commercial register for companies and personal ID Card for individuals.
  2. Insurance.
  3. Purchase invoices.
  4. Construction certificate for units and ships manufactured outside the Sultanate.
  5. Cancellation certificate for registered units or ships purchased from outside the Sultanate.
  6. Contract of sale for cancelled ships and those purchased from outside the Sultanate.
  7. Customs release certificate (for naval units and ships imported from outside the Sultanate).
  8. Classification Societies certificates for internationally sailing ships.
  9. Radio certificate.
  10. Safety equipment certificates.
  11. Company accreditation certificate.
  12. Approval for registering a fishing vessel (for fishing ships).
