The Invest Easy portal (One Stop Shop) provides fast and easy e-services to help set up and manage companies in Oman. Using the e-services helps minimize paperwork and save costs and time.


Customs (Bayan)

Bayan system is an online one-stop-shop offered by the Royal Oman Police (ROP) - Directorate General of Customs that facilitates seamless, convenient and fast clearance of goods for trading communities.

Service Description

The service enables system users to submit requests for obtaining work permits for individuals, employers, and other government entities, as applicable. It also provides the following services: Submitting requests for work permits for replacement (to replace non-Omani workers who left within a period not exceeding 90 days from the date of arrival) Submitting requests for early departure work permits (to replace non-Omani workers who left the country before obtaining work permits) Modifying work permit data Uploading the required documents and attachments Paying the fees electronically.

  2. Personal bank statement for 6 months or bank deposit
  3. Institution's bank statement for 6 months + commercial register documents
  4. Property ownership (in case of applying as a foreigner)
  5. Salary certificate
  6. Salary commitment letter
  7. Approvals from government entities such as:
  8. • Ministry of Social Development
  9. • Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Water Recourses
  10. • Oman Equestrian Federation
  11. • Oman Camel Racing Federation
  12. • Ministry of Health

  16. Lease agreement or property ownership - Municipal license
  17. Establishment's bank statement for 3 months
  18. Employment contracts (agreements) including the following:

  21. • Construction commencement order
  22. • Personal ID of the authorized signatory on the agreement

  2. Salary Proof / Banking Account Detection Certificate (in the event that the monthly salary data cannot be obtained automatically through the system or that the salary data obtained is not sufficient)
