Business (Invest Easy)

The Invest Easy portal (One Stop Shop) provides fast and easy e-services to help set up and manage companies in Oman. Using the e-services helps minimize paperwork and save costs and time.


Customs (Bayan)

Bayan system is an online one-stop-shop offered by the Royal Oman Police (ROP) - Directorate General of Customs that facilitates seamless, convenient and fast clearance of goods for trading communities.

Service Description

Documenting the rental relationship between the landlord and the lessee so that the lessee can benefit from the leased property during the contract period in return for an agreed-upon rent.

  1. A copy of the title deed and the survey drawing.
  2. A copy of the lessor's card or a copy of the agency.
  3. - The identity card of the lessor's agent, if the agent is an individual.
  4. A copy of the agency, the commercial register, the signature form, or the identity card of the authorized signatory, if the lessor's agent is a company.
  5. - In the event that the lessor is an investor in the property, a copy of the investment contracts and a no-objection letter from the owner of the property for sublease must be brought.
  6. A copy of the tenant's card, if it is an individual.
  7. - A copy of the commercial register and the signature form in case the tenant is an establishment or a company + a copy of the card of the person authorized to sign.
  8. - A copy of the legal agency and the legal media, and a copy of the identity card of the heirs' agent/s in case the property is in the name of the heirs.
  9. - In the event that the lessor is the Ministry of Endowments and Religious Affairs, the agency attaches to the endowment agents their personal cards and the Ministry's stamp on the contract form.
  10. - In the event that the contract is subcontracted, the period of the contract must not exceed the period of the original investment contract for the leased property.
  11. - Stamp of the company or institution on the contract form next to the signature.
  12. - A certificate of cancellation of the previous contract, in case the shop was rented previously.
  13. - A no-objection letter from the Director of the Owners Association stating that there is an Owners Association in the buildings subject to the system of owning apartments and layers.
  1. The parties to the contract must register the contract within a month from the date of its inception, and in the case of delay, it will result in a delay fine equivalent to 3 times the prescribed fee, and this is the obligation of the Royal Decree (6/89).
