Service Description


Request for an environmental permit to undertake a specific activity after verifying its environmental compliance and conducting an Environmental Impact Assessment conducting study with an environmental consulting office

  1. A proof of ownership of the land or the lease contract and the survey drawing
  2. - A copy of the approval of the General Organization for industrial zones in which the project would be, in case the project is established within its approved industrial zones
  3. The approval of the Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion indicating the annual production capacity for industrial projects
  4. - The approval of the Ministry of Energy and Minerals, indicating the coordinates of the site for mining projects
  5. - Transferring the financial guarantee to the Authority’s account for mining projects as follows:
  6. - (30,000) thirty thousand Omani riyals for mining and extraction of gold, silver, platinum, iron, copper, chromium, laterite and other minerals.
  7. - (7000) seven thousand Omani riyals for crushers and quarries.
  8. - (5000) five thousand Omani riyals for mechanical sieve projects or prospecting and exploration for gold, silver, platinum, iron, copper, chrome, laterite and other minerals.
