Oman Census count takes place every 10 years and it is planned and managed by the Supreme National Committee for Census under the Chairmanship of His Highness Sayyid Haitham bin Tareq al Said.

During the 2010 census, all citizens and residents co-operated with census personnel by providing them with the required information either when the census employee visited their houses or giving their data through the Internet.
