The Ministry of Endowments and Religious Affairs employs artificial intelligence (AI) and the Internet of Things (IoT) technologies with the aim of creating an analytical environment for the electronic operational systems in the ministry. This project
will be carried out in three stages over six months. The first and most crucial stage aims to establish a data warehouse called the “data lake” that stores the data extracted from all operational systems in the ministry for easy restoration
and analysis. As for the second stage, it aims to establish an analyzing system utilizing Internet of Things (IoT) technology. It analyzes and monitors the operational data of mosques, such as electricity and water using pre-set algorithms. The final
phase aims at establishing a specialized system for Zakat and charity management.
